Well guys...I had a AC-WD follow me home this afternoon. I bought this tractor at a farm auction yesterday, its a non-runner, and has been shedded for the last 10 years. I have not been on one of these since my early teens growing up on the farm. I pulled it home with my JD-A witch I have also restored and put back to working on the farm. I will report in from time to time as I restore this latest find. no pictures yet. |

| I don't think I will need the 6 volt generator, I do need a starter, although I haven't pulled it apart yet to see if it can be rebuilt. I have the loader off and the tractor in the shop. Where is the serial number tag located on these tractors? I have not found it yet and I've been looking. The battery is hooked up positive ground...or was before I took it out, can this be right since it has a 12 volt alternator? Thank you for any and all help. |

| I don't think it's an AC loader. I've got one on my WD and the one you have isn't close. Lot of companies made aftermarket loaders back in the day. Overall, the tractor looked pretty solid. If you want to go back to 6 volt, I've got a generator that doesn't have 10 hours on a rebuild sitting here.

| Yes, I plan on keping the loader, I'm getting to old not to have a loader tractor around here, so untill someone comes around that just has to have it...then thats my plan. This looks like an early AC model loader...could be wrong. The hood and right rear fender do have some issues, have to clean things up real good so I can see what I have for sure, that and clean out the shop so I can atleast get started on it. Later. |

| World gets smaller all the time. You were just leaving as I was loading the bulk bin I bought. That WD looked fairly straight and was loose. I think you did ok on it. Gonna keep the loader on it?
