You may have one some one cut off or broke off and then ground down to make it look right. I have 1 or 2 of those PTO units from my parts Cs if you find you need to replace what you have. On my sickle mower I had to make a pulley for it since the factory ones are no longer available [Reply]   [No Email]
Drak 02-24-2013 01:18:53 37.240.188.166 Report to Moderator	Re: Belly mower in reply to old, 02-23-2013 15:14:59   I think I have found the solution, rather than modify the brackets to bring the mower back to allighn the pully i can machine an adaptor to fit between the pully and the shaft on the mower, its possible there was one there origonaly which would explain the miss match, but it does not show one in the manual.Broken PTO shaft would not be the issue as its the shaft on the mower that is not long enough not the PTO shaft thats two short. By the way I dont know if you remember but we had a disscussion back in the summer about fitting a diesel engine to a "C" well i have obtained a Perkins P3 and have now modified it to fit, I managed to find an old perkins diesel engine (scrap) off an AC B (they produced a few in the early 50ties) not many and they are very rare to find, i have taken the sump, oil pump, fly wheel, clutch, and bell housing off the junk AC engine and fitted to my new Perkins P3 so its ready to install, but i need to wait for better weather.
