Power Steering on a WC

Have a thought to put power steering on the old WC. Thinking of using a double groove pulley off a WD-45 to spin a "75 chevy truck power steering pump. Wich in turn will supply fluid to a Char-Lynn Torque Generator. Any reason my thinking is wrong? Or will the pump supply to much pressure? Any thoughts idea"s?

On older DC case used for loader put hyd pump between mag and its drive. Works for me as power steering and live power for loader.Would not this work on WC with flange mount mag?

Already have the Saginaw power steering pump laying around. Would have to scrounge up the wd-45 power steering pump. Beside the Saginaw is smaller and easier to hide I think.

I think the basis of what you are trying to do will work.

Only problem I see is getting a double groove pulley off a WD45. All the 45 engines other than tractors with power steering are single groove.

Saginaw power steering pumps have a spring that
controls pressure. Cryseler even used Saganaw (GM)
pumps but different makes and models used differ-
ent pressures. Anyway..a Char-Lynn can take 1500 PSI. Saganaws can vary from 600 to 1000 PSI
