'39 B questions

Hello,


1. Could someone please post a picture of their B with the adjustment screws that replaced the bolts on the brake bands for older Bs?



2. The original gas cap for a '39 B has been painted, now it isn't venting. Is there a way to open the vent? Use a razor bade to cut around the small brass square on top??

I drill a tiny hole directly in the center as some of those original style caps are sold as radiator caps and don't have holes.
