WHEN SHIFTING FROM FORWARD TO REVERSE AND LETTING CLUTCH OUT TRACTOR ALWAYS BINDS AND WON"T MOVE FREELY. BRAKES SEEM TO FREE JUST WONDERING IF IT MIGHT BE WHEELS TRING TO SHIFT IN AND OUT. ONCE IT MAKES THE INITIAL MOVE ITS OK. GOING TO REBUILD THE MOTOR AND PUT A NINE BUTTON CLUTCH IN.

Most likely warn shift rails or such things and if it not coming out of one gear so it locks up and is in both gears at the same time so it can not move since it can not go forward and back wards at the same time

I have the same tractor and agree with old . mine wouldn't go into gear because of worn shift forks , but once I replaced the trans top , it works perfect. I see you have the correct color scheme for the rims. People always say to me paint the front rims aluminum --- but we both know that's incorrect -- you have a real beauty there

You might want to do the unthinkable and put a pencil mark on the rails and get off and look at it after you have moved it.
I know it is off the wall thinking but what the hey. If you use a lead pencil it will erase.
