old 01-14-2013 11:04:45 209.86.226.34 Report to Moderator	Re: Distributor cables in reply to Matt Reinders, 01-14-2013 10:57:42   I may be wrong but I think you have #1 and #4 right but #2 and #3 need to be swapped out since firing order is 1, 2, 4, 3 and right now you have it as 1, 3, 4, 2 as in I think you have the rotor going in your mind as back wards of what it really does but as I said I might be wrong and it is to cold out to pull the cap on my WD45 and make sure it spins the direction I think it does LOL [Reply]  [No Email]

That said on most distributors you can have any of the 4 as #1 depending on how the timing is set and where the distributor was set in. The firing order is 1, 2, 4, 3 on that engine with the #1 cylinder being the one closest to the radiator and going back from there as 1,2,3,4. So no real way for us to be sure you have it right or 180 out or just flat out wrong [Reply]  [No Email]
