Tire Inflation

Had left rear wheel repaired and a new tire put on the other side. Just got the repaired wheel back on today. Neither is registering 20 lbs.

What is proper inflation? Think I saw something about 28 if carrying fluid.

Thanks

Always been told to run them 10-15 PSI depending on what your doing. Heavy pulling lower pressure. Driving on the road higher pressure

If a tire is Loaded, it will need much less pressure...usually (for Field-Work) around 12-14 lb maximum..
Non-Loaded Rear tires will require more pressure

ALL 4 are Loaded on my WD-45...

Ron..

get your self a good fluid gauge and put 14 lbs in them. Be sure to rinse the gauge out after you use it. Keep 14 lbs in them for everything.

Loaded, I would guess not over 7 lb air pressure..but few use one, as the calcium would eat the gauge...
I always just observe the footprint, with Loaded tires and use an air gauge with only air-filled tires..

DO check with the Normal Emplement weight ON the rear of the tractor..

Ron.
