I've fully resorted a '53 wd45. However, the steering wheel is dull and stands out. Any suggestions to shine up the wheel without buying a new one? Can I paint over the rubber? Would tire shine work? Thanks in advance. |

| I have wondered if anybody can put new plastic on these steering wheels. Bought an aftermarket one and the spoke angle is different. I'd like to get the original recovered sometime. |

| I paint them all the time. Use several coats. I have 1 that I painted 8 years ago and now the paint is getting thin. I also repair the cracks with bondo. Bob |
