D-15 was rated as a 3 plow tractor and all of them around here were so equipped but gasoline fueled and 5 more HP than the diesels. If your plowing needs are small go with a 2 if for no other reason than the engine is not the best one that ever graced an A-C tractor.

Forgive me- It depends on whether you drop them in the ground or not!!!!!!!! Seriously- A three bottom plow is a lot for any D15, unless you have very easy conditions. I assume that 4 cyl. Buda is a troublesome as the 6 cyl., so I wouldn't be pushing it.

You could hook a springtooth drag behind that disc and handle it in 3H. The plow depends on size of bottoms and soil conditions. A lot of guys on here will say "No sweat". But in my soil conditions there is no way that tractor would pull three bottoms other than on a few sandy spots with corn stubble.
