If I could remember say 75% of what I learned over the years I could probably write a book and be rich in $$. From what I understand all Naval air bases where called NAS but then they added things like Oceania or Norfolk etc to give a person an idea as to where it was. I mean all of it, the memory-beer- duty stations, etc.etc. You are probely thinking about the Master jet base Oeacina ,or NAAS Fentress. My first house that I bought was in VA.Beach and was just an old mobile home but it was my mobile home and it was real close to the flight path of the jets coming and going and boy did they rattle that mobile home a whole lot.
