i have to ask,how long since it ran?i ask because the rings will lose their oil seal.means no suction-no fuel to plugs, pull plugs- each cyl gets a squirt of oil spin motor over couple times.put them back inand try to start.ijust brought my 39b back to life after setting many years

Gas bad as it is a non lubricant and if the rings are sticking from rust you have just added a problem on top of another problem. That is why I said ATf in each cylinder so as to help lube the cylinder walls up and to free up the sticking rings. ATF is the first thing I do to an engine when I find a fence row tractor and most of the time I can get them back up and running in just a short time
