So I pulled the engine on my 1955 WD45, and removed the clutch and pressure Plate, to put in a new clutch. I washed up the items, and could not read any numbers, or words on them, They appear blank. The IT manual says that a flywheel from a rockford will not accept an auburn clutch, and vice-versa. It doesn't give pictures of the two styles, so I can pick out the right one, and neither does the YT parts site. YT doesn't stock the auburn unit, and their pictures of the clutch, that they do stock, does not get larger, so I can make it out. YT only offers the rockford pressure plate, but has no image! Can anyone tell me what to look for to distingwish between the two. I would like to order the right one , the first time, so I can put my loader back on. I need the tractor now.The clutch that I took out looks like most car or truck plates, and has 4 segments of friction material, on it.The pressure plate has three fingers to push with, and one of the wire type return springs is missing, from a finger.
