Does anyone know where to buy the 12 spline starter gear for the late model b, c, and ca. I bought a starter not knowing there was a difference in fly wheels. I don"t really want to invest in a whole new starter when the one I have is new but binds because of the 14 teeth. |

| YT tractor parts, up in your left hand corner of your screen, sells new starter drives that should fit on your starter shaft. They want $48 plus change, for a B starter drive. |

| according to my parts book the B C & CA used the same starter and ring gear. Some of the B's that I have heard about used an Autolite started, but I'm told that thr=ere aren't any parts available for them. I never heard of a 12 spline starter. What brand of starter do you have? Can you show a picture or 2? Bob |

| Are you talking about the starter(pinion)gear? The B uses a 90 tooth ring gear, but I don't know how many teeth the starter gear has. The wd uses a coarse gear. A friend of mine bought a pinion gear from NAPA for his B and it was too coarse. I sold him a complete starter to help him out. You might do well to buy a complete starter on ebay. Bob |
