If you can't roll it around and get it to fall out I have a spring loaded grabber thing for fishing stuff out of gas tanks and such.Pretty handy to have around. Probably wont hurt anything if you can't get it out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Spring-Claw-Flexible-Grabber-Tool-/310106522370?pt=UK_Measuring_Tools_Levels&hash=item4833ca0302 |

| Thanks for the tip guys - borrowed one of those grabber tools from dad but the sheet metal part appears to be much bigger than the filler neck opening...its almost as wide as the upper tank. I talked to Dad about the parts I saw and he suggested the sheet metal part may have been some sort of baffle that has broken loose - your thoughts? I think I'm going to go ahead and re-install the radiator despite the floating parts and just keep an eye on the coolant temp...replacement radiators are not cheap!...thanks again |

| HERE IS THE same tool that I have. REAL cheap. for this kind of money, you can't afford NOT to have it. I agree, it is probably the top baffle that goes just under the fill opening. I wouldn't worry about it either. |
