I talked to Dad about the parts I saw and he suggested the sheet metal part may have been some sort of baffle that has broken loose - your thoughts? I think I'm going to go ahead and re-install the radiator despite the floating parts and just keep an eye on the coolant temp...replacement radiators are not cheap!...thanks again [Reply]  [No Email]

REAL cheap. for this kind of money, you can't afford NOT to have it. I agree, it is probably the top baffle that goes just under the fill opening.
