I have a '37 WC that I'm working on. I need to replace the wires. They are probably original or close to that vintage. They have no boots on either end, just the terminal stuck in the mag and the other end over the plug. Is that the way they're supposed to be, or should I just put a new set of solid core wires on with boots?

| My 37 WC has the bare ends at the plugs and the wires appear vintage.

| It should have boots on the magneto end of the wires only if you want the original look according to the parts book.
