my buddy has a f2 combine that i had taken the injection pump off and didnt know about the timing marks underneath the cover. It is a 4 cylinder diesel and i would like to know how to time it. i appreciate any info. Thanks

my question would be did you slide it off the shaft if you did then look at end of shaft it should have a dot on it then look into the pump and it should have a dot down inside of it aline the two dots you can trun the pump with a large bladed screw driver. now when up put it back on the shaft be sure not to roll the umbrella seal or it well dump fuel into the engine. if you took it off by removing the gear it can be re timed but it takes some doing you probably best find some one that know how to do it i have done one but it takes some doing and i just don't think i could tell any one how with out seeing the engine.
