I'm looking for some info on cultivators for a C, looking to buy a set and before I go and look at them like to know alittle more about them, so I'll know if they are right and all there, I've looked at what pictures I could find but didnt find any close up [anyone got any they could post ], are there different models? think I read about maybe a 60 and 80? is there a manual and hyd. lift? Thanks Mike |

Where are you located? We have a 2 row and my Brother who claims the tractor wanted to throw the cultivator away but keep the levers. Ours is like the C with the steel wheels and I'm probably going to save it even though it is of little use without the tractor. I would put cylinders on each side if I was using it but that not going to work for show purposes. Im in Ne. cleddy

Mine are series 80 with manual lift and they do have the 2 rods on the left, same as the right.

Thanks everyone for the pictures and info, it is a narrow front, and they look like the ones in the picture Lonnie sent [pretty tractor], does anyone know the model of them? is it manual lift? and does it have the 2 long rods on the left side that runs from the front to the back like it has on the right?

Around here there were model 62 cultivators for the B, I think they made them for the C wide front as well. This is a pic of a model 6? for sale a while back, saved it so I could show someone what it looked like

Looking at this close up, the handle to lift it manually looks broken off, and I do not see the lift springs. If it is a wide front model 60s like this I can copy and mail pages from my fathers manual.

I have a manual on the 80 series. they made a 80, 81, spring trip shanks, 82,spring tooth, & 4 row #86. They come both hand lift and hydraulic lift. They come with 2 front gangs, a rear tool bar 4 rods that run from rear to the front and to raise and lower them. Also chains and springs. You will also need the C rear rock shaft on your tractor. Hope this helps. Bob
