Does anyone have suggestions on how to make the hand clutch hold from slipping on a D17 that I have a small block Chevy in? It will hold up to ths rpms but not the power. If not, how do I delete the hand clutch-my last choice as I want all eight gear choices. Thanks, Mark. |

There are three places on this clutch were shims can be moved!! from frt.&rear of this unit to the center.you loosen two bolts ,remove a .015 ths.from frt.& rear & install in center ,tighten bolts , move on to other shims do same thing.should snap over frim.IF not let me know.RON |

| Did you put the V8 in the tractor? or did you buy it like that? If you put it in yourself, how difficult was it to do? |
