Hi again,
Yes, I'm really new to this! What is the proper way to measure the correct setting for the floats in a carburetor? The instructions indicate: "To obtain correct fuel level check position of float to measure 1-5/32" plus or minus 3/64" from casting to farthest point of float. Bend float arm next to float to obtain this measurement." Is this measurement made like I'm showing it in the photo, or should this measurement be made while the carburetor is in the operating position? Also, should the measurement be made from the flat part of the casting where the two carb halfs join, or from the irregular shaped part of the casting directly above the floats themselves. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. You would think something so critical would be clearly explained. Thanks in advance for your help!!
