Just took the head off my allis b to replace head gasket. Between two cylinders are cracks. They run from one cylinder to the next.I read once that you should just ignore them . Any comments would be appreciated

Quite common to have the crack between cylinders on the top, it becomes an issue when it's on the bottom where the sleeves seal to the block.

Your talking about a crack that is barely visible right ? IF it starts to open up and is 1/16 inch gap and getting bigger, you then have a problem. Small crack with ho real gap will be sealed with head gasket as mentioned.
