What is the little brass (orifice or plug? ) in the throat of the carburetor right where the throttle plate seats closed ? It is right above the idle mixture screw. Is this a common part in a complete carburetor rebuild kit ? I had to punch mine out because I could not get it to unscrew. It now appears that it is pressed in and has something to do with the idle fuel? I did not see a part number in the manual but it is shown on the diagram.Any help wouold be appriciated. Thanks Wayne |

| That is the idle jet, and it should screw out. I usually remove the adjusting screw and run a fine wire through the jet, then blow it out. I have never seen one in a rebuild kit. I might have an extra one around, I'll check. Bob |
