Allis D-17 carb

I have a D-17 ( the stamp on the engine block is D17 - 13321 ) From reading the other forms, I seem to need a carb. Either a kit or maybe just get a re-built. It has A Zenith carb on it, cant see any #'s on the carb other then a 200. What numbers's do I need to find to get the correct kit or a rebuilt for this tractor?. I read on one of the forums that the throtle shaft may get worn and a kit wont fix that ?? Thanks..

Most D17 tractors have a Marvel-Schebler carb, four different models. If it's a Zenith, it should be a model 267J8, outline 0-12217 carb. Float setting for that carb is 5/32 inch.

ITs a Zenith, stamped on the side.. Is it best to go with a re-built and be done with it. Or are the kits good enough to fix it all up ?

Thanks

I took the carb off to look for numbers, and not much on it. The bottom part has " Zenith Made in America " on both sides. And on the top part all I can see is a # 200 stamped by the fuel inlet and a B 3 casted on the choke tower. NO other numbers that I can see yet. And the round brass plate is blank. Is that all the #'s I need, or where else do I look ?
