I thought this tractor would have enough horse power to lift the bales....but it won't. Any ideas? Is there a place to check hydrolic fluid, or would that matter. Don't know much about this stuff. You have to have your foot off the clutch, and the hi-lo stick in neutral(center)position to lift at a dead stop. Check oil with rams fully extended, right side of tractor, dipstick just ahead of the gas tank. [Reply]  [No Email]

They avg 1,200 lbs, and the 3-point bale spear probably weighs another couple hundred pounds. Too much weight? The front of the tractor does not come up when i try, so I"m guessing something isn"t right. It can lift the 900lb bush hog just fine. Any other suggestions?
