The power director gives you two speeds in each gear. Push it ahead for the high side, pull back for low side. If using pto equipment, you can pull it back to neutral and the tractor stops, the pto keeps running, (live power. They hardly ever give trouble, and can be adjusted from the outside, but it takes patience, and you need the book. Most thing to watch for on those tractors are how many gears the trans jumps out of, some can be corrected with new shift forks, but if gears need replacing, go borrow somebodys wallet thats fatter than yours. Otherwise they are good tractors, aroung 34 hp. |

| Cole is exactly right! You can shift from forward to reverse with the lever in the middle if you shift really fast. Like when you are rotary mowing. |
