CA ignition re-do

I assume that you are using a distributor & not a magneto...If so yes you use the same one for all early A-Cs with distributors. Kip

Thaks, Utah I contacted Oreilys they having hard time looking it up. I called Yesterdays tractors parts dept they had one in hand and its on the way.

They are sensitive to the resistance of the primary side of the coil. It can't be lower than 3 ohms. If it is, you need to add a ballast resistor, or get a different coil. I have the Pertronix on my CA and their Flamethrower coil just to be sure they are compatible. I also run the plug gaps at .045. Made a big difference in idle and starting.

Either Autolite 303 or 295 plugs. I also prefer good copper wire core wires to the carbon core "resister" type wires.
