Have a "B" Allis with a bad engine. Found a "C" engine. Can the "C" engine be bolted in? Thanks Z/ |

Yep a B/C engine will swap out just fine as would a CA or RC engine all the same other then the early B engine and even then the C engine would fit

All the B's had C engines after mid 1942. The serial # on the engine started with CE, before that the B engines serial # started with BE.

After this many years there will most likely not be a difference in the two engines. No all but most B overhauls received the 3 3/8" kits.

no, motors were identical after 1941 or so.. Both CE motors. First couple years of the B had a smaller bore cylinder (116 instead of 125 inch), but basically the same block, other than taped holes for generator mounts, etc.
