Tractor Comparison's

I believe there are different types of people with different Personalities that are attracted to one or two brands...

The IH owner would rather just drive and not be bothered by the monotonous sound of his 4 cylinder engine, etc..and enjoys listening to his radio, I suppose..
The JD owner is more of a "Hands-On" fellow and always has an ear toward the sounds of his equipment. Never bored with the sound of his tractor's exhaust..and just as well..he could not listen to a radio, even if he wanted..!!

Am I correct, so far..???

I'm not experienced with a 1650 or any Oliver really so not qualified to speak there, but I know they have an excellent reputation.
As far as the others go...I guess it would depend on what the bulk of the work I was going to be doing with it was: lot's of field work or chore type work.
Certainly the 5000 and the D19 are capable of the field work, but need to be weighted up pretty good to compete with the others from a traction and hold back stand point, but are the most handy for chore type work.
Lot's of field work in larger fields, and assuming the 560 has the updated rearend, I would have to rate the 560 and the 730 Deere as capable and I love 'em both, but both are essentially updated technology from the '30s and '40s while the Case 730 (and I imagine the 1650) are more modern and comfortable and would be better compared with a 3020 and a newer IH.
So I guess my answer from a working standpoint would be the 730 Case or the 5000 Ford. Since I don't have to work 'em any more, and just like to play at working with them, if I had my pick of only one I'd take the JD 730 1st and the Case 730 2nd, but I'd like to have 'em all to make comparisons over the next several years! LOL
I know this...when it's time to replace the clutch, the JD wins hands down!

The 830 was only 64, the 900 was 70 and 930 was about 80. I'd still take the 830, but a 930 would be a better comparison if the 19 was turned up. The 560 is only about 63 too. A 656 would be a better comparison. I'd actually be happy with any but the Deere 830. A 3020 would have been a better comparison to a D19.
