No hydraulics on 7020

Ever since running the oil low when a hose blew, a rattling noise in the rear end (top) ensued and loss of hydraulics on the lift arms and remotes occurred. Tractor will not move either. Any suggestions on the problem could be? I did refill the rear end with hydraulic fluid. It took about two and a half gallons.

Hmm, tractor won't move either? Hydraulics and tranny oil supply comes from 2 different sumps. Check transmission oil on dipstick under seat, hydraulic oil should be in sight glasses to the left of the rear PTO. If both are OK, could most likely be the torque limiter on rear of flywheel. Running low shouldn't have caused it to shell out, but could have been ready to go and happened at the same time.

Missed the clue you mentioned of rattling noise under rear end top cover. The pump driveline for all the pumps is located under the 3 point cover. Problem could be there, but I have never really seen a problem there before. If a problem is in this driveline you would loose everything.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into that. Both sump levels are ok, the rattling noise was in the backend, I'll need to look at a service manual, the ops doesn't quite fill me in as to what happened.

The 7020 pumps are on the belly of the tractor towards the front of the transmission. Ther are 3 pumps. It sounds like the drive failed to the pumps
