Let the engine idle until it is warm enough that the engine heat will prevent the carburetor from icing up. |

| Carb icing is normal and if it did not do so then you would have a problem. The atomizing of the fuel causes the carb to get cool enough that in some conditions you get condensation on the out side of the carb to ice the carb. As the engine gets warmer it will go away or you can put some sort of side cover on it to hold the engine heat in to stop it but as I said that is the way the carb works plain and simple. Even you car and trucks do it but you can not see it happen |
