I know it has to be simple.... I have missed placed the manual. I know where to put oil and where to put hydrolic fluid. Is there a diffrent place to put transmition fluid? I started to shreed the pasture and it would"nt go up a small hill, and I had to back it all the way to the barn? If this is somthing you"ve heard of please help? 5" tall brush in Texas.

It sounds like the hand clutch is slipping due to wear or out of adjustment. As for the transmission, the tranny, differential and hydraulics all share the same oil, 20W non-detergent as specified in the owners manual. I would recommend Hy-Tran fluid rather than 20W. Check the level of your transmission with the dip stick located on the left side of the tranny. This is also where you fill the tranny, differential and hydraulics. About 8 quarts when completely drained. There are three seperate drain plugs one each under the tranny, differential and hydraulic pump. I"m still thinking it"s the hand clutch! Keep us updated on what you find. Thanks!

If the PTO keeps going when the tractor won't go forward, then it is the hand clutch. If both the PTO and tractor stop then it is the foot clutch.

ok so its the hand clutch....how dose that work? I didnt know it had one? I still can't find my book.

Hand clutch is the handle, on the right side, of the rear axle, effectively disconnects the rear axle, on the right side, allowing the pto to continue running. There might be some adjustment left, I think there is a cover you have to take off, to look at the clutch. Sandy Lake can get you the parts, if you need them, I think.
