I was wondering if anone has had experience with a 4wd Agco-Allis 5660 w/loader. I have a chance to pick one up with only 320 hours on it... on a mid 90's tractor???... looks new. But the question I have is why has it apparently been parked in the shed for most of its life..maybe there is a reason, but then maybe someone just bought it to look at it.???. |

| | Buddy had one. They shifted terrible and where just a real clumsy tractor. He had a two wheel drive one and was still cultivating his corn. With 4 x 38 rear cultivator you could not turn into the next four rows with an eight row head land. The tractor would not turn any shorter. He had to plant 12 rows on his head lands. He bought it new and at three years old he had just over 400 hours on it. He hated the thing but found out no one else wanted the thing either. He tried to trade it for several years with not luck. He finally got lucky and had a small shed burn with it in it. Insurance traded him out of it. LOL |
