Pertronix 1142P6 - 6 volt positive ground

Am I correct that a Pertronix Ignitor 1142P6 should work on my 1952 CA with a 6 volt positive ground.

Bought a new battery not long ago, so not looking to convert to 12volt - hoping to find a 6 volt solution.

Have any of you had notable success with the Pertronix ignitions?

I could check that number tomorrow. I have installed several on different tractors. All have been 12 volt negetive ground. Have had excellent results. Have been on the tractors for years. Most important thing to do is to install the pertronix coil that is recomended for the ignitor. ( ohms of resitance will be correct that way. Good luck.
