D15 adding a stock tach - what's needed?

Looking to add a factory tach to our D15 Series 1 that came from factory without one. I've got a stock tach, but what's needed on the back of the distributor? Anybody have part numbers for the cable? It's really unclear in the manuals I have (op and shop).

There's an adapter block, on the outboard end of the distributor, screws in in place of the plug, in yours, now. Mighty rare piece, I've heard tell of people spendin a couple hunnert bucks, on the adapter, and cable. Never heard where, though!

Did the D14, D15, D17, D19 all use the same tach?

Pretty sure the D-10/12,14,15, are all the same. D17G used a different block, and the 17/19D are 6cyl, and a different block, from the gas D-17. My answer is not sure, call Brenda! Brenda is the parts lady at Sandy Lake equipment, in Western PA. (a long time Allis Chalmers, now agco dealer)
