Look for an Allis 445 loader, was a front pump kit that made them live hydraulic. had one for almost 40 years, never welded on except the bucket, was used daily and hard.

[I have a DuAll loader on my WD45 Diesel and I like it. It's a high lift type loader and will handle my 5x5 round bales pretty good. It does have a wide adjustable front end that has a gusset added. The drawback is the hydraulics. A front driven pump would be real nice. No room in the diesel but maybe so in a gas job.

New Idea made one in '58 and '59 and maybe some other years. It was a very strong loader with a great lifting capacity. We were very hard on it and it stood up to the abuse for over twenty years. The mounting subframe was adjustable, so it looked like it would fit other tractors and maybe even other brands

Hi John: Where are you located in Illinois? Is this wd9 loader made for the wd-45? Do you have photos etc. Also, how is the bucket? I'm originally from Wyoming, Il. My family is still up there. How musch are you asking? Thanks Jim

WD-45 would not be my 1st choice for a loader tractor. If you really want to put one on a WD-45, it would be a challenge to find one that bolts on (very old). Koyker Mfg only goes down to the D-17 (new loader). Most likely have to find a cheap, used loader and modify to fit and plumb.

Good luck.

I understand why you say that, living in CT, but in the Midwest, livestock country, WD45 was a very popular loader tractor, and easy to find a loader from the day. Paulson was a very popular brand here in MN, along with StanHoist and many others. AC also had the pipeframe loader, but it was not as strong as a Paulson or others. BTW, I"ve seen a number of Koyker loaders on reversed WD tractors. I only hope that Koyker made their loaders better than they made their grain augers! Would never buy another one of them, but Snowco was absolutely the worst I"ve seen. Didn"t know you could make metal that thin and still have two sides to it! Reminds me of thin bacon I got at Booger King some years ago.
