[b:b2a87fe736][/b:b2a87fe736]I have to take the engine off the adjust my new clutch but may only have a day to do it in a good shop. I took it off once to add a new clutch in my ag class but because of the different days i dont remember how long it took to get it off. I just want to now if i could get the engine off
and fingers adjusted in under 10 hours?

with an overhead hoist I can have the engine out of one of mine in less than an hour.

from the service manual -

The complete engine may be removed as a
unit as follows: Drain the cooling system
and the oil sump and shut off the fuel supply.
Remove the hood, hood support and radiatorhoses. Remove the drawbar guide. Remove
the starter and choke rods and the battery
cable at the starter - also disconnect the
headlight wire. The engine may be supported
from the fan shaft bearings, however, do not
hook in such manner as to pull bear ing
brackets closer together or to place a strain
on shaft. It is best to use a solid bar as
shown or a spreader must be placed between
the chain ends close to the fan shaft bearing
bracket. Disconnect the fuel line, remove
throttle rod, remove the bolts from the clutch
housing and swing engine away from tractor.

did mine about two years ago took about 20mins to get the engine off about an hour total to replace the clutch and adjust I used a large transmission jack which made it easy to line back up
