Allis Auction prices - Southern Indiana

An auction was held today. This is a sample of the prices. Orange iron is still worth lots of money. Everything looked to be in good condition.

8020, 700 hours $42K
190 XT, hours unknown, $31k
D17 2300 hours (unsure if accurate) 1960 model, power steering. snap coupler (no 3 point) $2900.
WD45, gas, hours unknown, power steering, snap coupler only $1800.
Several snap coupler implements we thought would go for salvage sold high. A 7' sickle mower with high wear brought $350.

31K on a 190 that had to be mint like it left the factory. I never heard of one going that high. wish you had a photo of it

Sorry, the 190 XT sold for $3100. not $31k. Still a lot of money for a tractor this old.
All were low hour tractors. They also had a large croud, 400+ people.

The WD45 was in good/excellent sondition and had factory power steering. The auction was held about 10 miles north of Vincennes, IN just off State Highway 67.
Two brothers farmed together and retired 6-7 years ago, the machinery had been storage since.
They also had a 4430 John Deere but it would not start and was removed from the auction.
What is remarkable about these prices is Allis has always been one of the least popular tractors in this area and typically sell cheap.
