Hello! Well today I was feeding some round bales of hay to the cows, Well Im useing a 1949 WD with a WD45 engine, I had the throttle as low as it can go coming off a small hill, The Nex thing i know the throttle/Gov went way way to high! So I come to a stop and move the throttle lever to high idle and back to low idle, The engine is still running way to fast, ,SOUNDS LIKE THE ENGINE WAS GONNA BLOW UP, Well I've adjusted the long rod going to the gov and the short rod, Now it stays in low idle just fine but as soon as I move the throttle the engine get faster and faster and there is no way to stop it so I have to kill the tractor,
Any Ideas on what happend and how to fix this?
Thanks
