Help I have just purchased a sawmill with a allis power unit and was looking for some info such as horsepower ratings torque ect.It has many #s on it like the one by the oil fill UMA 9398g if anyone has info please help.By the way it has a hand crank and runs fine.
 
Sounds like that may be a UM 301 CID engine like used in the U standard, UC row crop and M crawler tractors. Does it have a bolt together radiator?
 
HiRay: If it Uses cylinder heads Such as one for each pair of cylinders it could very well be an E60 power unit and puts out about 60 Hp. If it has 6 cylinders it would be in the90 HP range.
