D17 Series IV Question

I just purchased a series IV diesel and have a couple of questions. I notice there are 2 hydraulic dipsticks on either side of the gear shifter. What weight fluid and capacity do each take? Also one of the lift arm cylinders is leaking. Is seal replacement hard to do on this? Thanks for any info you could share. I will try to search forum for answers as needed, but i just want to get these things done to begin with.

The dipstick with the vent is the transmission fluid; suggest 80/90 transmission fluid. The dipstick with the tower is the hydraulic reservoir; use universal hydraulic fluid. Seals for the cylinder are still available from Agco; changing them is pretty much straight forward. Suggest you change - accept some fluid slobbering out the weep holes - this is the nature of the beast. We use our D17IV daily. Tom
