I had an injector sealing washer blow out on my '78 7580 Allis. I have cleaned everthing up and intalled new washer and gasket. I was woundering if anybody could tell be the proper torque to set the hold down bolts to. I want to seat the washer correctly so this doesn't happen again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

casepoor,

I read this earlier and couldn't remember for sure. I looked in the 8070 tech manual and it calls for 23 pounds feet. Should be the same on a 7580, they are the same basic engine.

Be sure to tighten them evenly and alternately to the specified torque.

Have a great day!

Thank you very much. I don't know what I would do without this forum.
