Tractor Fixed Itself? | When I bought my Ford 860 last year, it ran good, but DRANK oil! Took about a quart every hour of running. When filled with oil, had good pressure, and used the gadge to tell me when to add more oil. Then it changed ? All of a sudden it ran longer, and checks showed I had oil. Must have been rings stuck, as now it goes from oil change to oil change without adding oil. ONLY reason I did not strip it down & rebuild engine was shortage of cash.
