Rock River Thresheree would like to invite you to our 60th annual reunion. It will be held Labor Day weekend, Friday Sept. 2nd through Monday Sept. 5th 2010, at 51E Cox Rd, Edgerton, WI. We are located midway between Janesville and Edgerton along Hwy 51 and Cty Tk M. Featured this year is the John Deere tractors,equipment, and gas engines. The show grounds open at 8:00AM each day, until 5:00PM. grain threshing from plowing with both steam and gas powered We crop demonstrations. Fresh potatoes dug We are happy to feature one of the largest flea markets in the area. Our huge Parade of Power is at 2:00PM daily green You can take a ride on The Rock River Cannonball, our steam- powered locomotive. it now provides rides around the 1 mile track that circles the park. the pile driver. The Museum of industry and Agriculture, Rock River IornWerks. Blacksmith shop , wheelwright and woodwrights. A steam-powered sawmill shingle mill classic construction equipment Antique and classic cars and trucks children s activities drive your first tractor. pedal pull corn box, barrel train, Sear s House, decorated with period furnishings. Food for everyone s taste is located around the park. Saturday and Sunday we feature music during the day. fresh ground corn meal and buckwheat, available in the Gristmill. There is ample free parking, with shuttle service provided to take you to the center of the activities. You can also tour the ground with our in-park shuttle. Plan to spend the day with us and enjoy the activities for only 8.00 for adults and children under 12 are free. Friday is seniors day, 6 admission for all seionors. He has patiently suffered my incessant chit chat on the subject of tractors for longer than I care to remember, and on many occasions he has put himself out, dropped what ever it was he was doing, to come and lend a hand cranking handles, or loading a find onto a trailer.
