Kelly Smith wrote on Monday, May 23, 2005 (PDT):I'm impressed by the modifications done to the tractor, but like the fact that it can still be returned to original. I am interested in more details about how the 1030 pump was altered to work in the 400 and if any drawbacks come into play. Thanks.
Roger Hornbaker wrote on Friday, February 24, 2006 (PST):Hi Jeremy; Those 400's case made was one of their best tractors ever. I never owned one but have tlked to many who have and do own them. My interest has been in the 300, the first tractor I started farming with about 1960, and with the help of a farmer home administration loan to buy cows and some equipment. I now make parts for them and one of the items is the hood 4 1/2" plastic medallion. Would be pleased to send you one, no charge, to put on the from of your 400, it's nice to have something in the hole in front of the hood to finish it off. Roger Williamsport, Md. 301-223-9005
