I'm the proud new owner of a Case 220 lawn tractor. The only thing about it needing immediate attention is the fact it won't charge. It works fine as a starter but is not appearing to charge (digital meter shows voltage a few tenths lower running that shut off) P.O. told me he had to jump or trickle to start her... sure enough. The terminal on the regulator was not connected, I assume it goes to A F is connected to F on generator/starter. L is not connected, does it Need a lamp to work ? I've been spinning wrenches on all sorts of stuff for years and have done component level repair on pc's and peripherials for a living but I have to admit my generator theory is non existant and I could REALLY use some help. I have googled until blue in the face and have looked around here but am not finding the info, honest I don't waste bandwidth until I fail to find it myself :-) Thanks in advance, Brian
