We have three DC tractors, a '51,'52, and'54. Dad bought the '51 new. Tough tractors.
OIL Engine---30 for summer. Or else just s good multi-grade. Transmission---straight 90 gear lube (about 11 gallons) Hydraulic Pump---We run 30 non-detergent. Don't run it low. Wet Clutch is fed with engine oil. Be sure to remove plug in pan and plug near clutch when changing oil.
We love our DCs. Only wish CASE woulda put a 5-speed in them. Low gear can be a little fast on the chopper.
