Well I went to an old dealership auction today thinking I would be able to buy up some old manuals to fill in what my pa doesn't have, and also some old parts that he would have around. Well things didn't go as planned and I ended up finding out Don L bought a bunch of the parts pre sale and is also going to get most of the manuals as well. (Sorry Don;)!) But the day was not lost, I ended up coming home with a SC4 and a SC for parts and also a 2 row case corn planter that I really didnt want but when they couldn't get a bid after $2.50 I raised my hand and got it for $5! Along with a few other smaller things at the sale it ended up being a pretty good day! I am excited to get the SC4 up and running, which I don't think it will take too much to do so but to drive it I will need tires all around and it also needs some fenders so if anyone has any let me know! Actually I only need one since I picked an almost perfect one up for $5! I hate to say it but with a better auction company there would have been no way I could have afforded everything I bought since it was mostly local people around and they obviously don't know what some stuff was worth. It was a buyers sale for sure. Running DC with loader only brought $550 or $600, I quit at 500 since I had the SC4 already, and the parts SC I couldn't let that go cheap since the grille is perfect and there are enough parts to donate to other causes that I thought $125 was worth it. (Block is cracked and locked up and the tranny is stuck in gear) Hopefully I will have some pics up in a day or two.

Today's Featured Article - It Can't Be Done! - A Tractor Story - by Neil Campbell. I'll never forget the time back when I was a boy baling hay on our Farm in Big Rapid, Michigan. The most memorable event that took place was a trip up the steepest incline on the farm pulling an old New-Idea baler with a pony-motor for power and a haywagon. I had just talked my Dad into buying an old John Deere B with 6-speeds ahead and I was real proud of it, except it was a little smaller than the Case tractor that we normally ... [Read Article]
