wondered the same ,tranny Levels MUST BE MAINTAINED ,or Terrible Consequences occur ///, btw my 1070 Pshift only holds 16 +gallons ,,.how much do the 1570s hold ? ,, my 1070has the glass site glass and was built in 1970 .therefore I am able to use the engine dipstick to chek the tranny fluid from the filler nek .. it seems that 2 and1/2 inches above full mark on engine dip stik while parked on level is workin level for the p shift tranny,,, one of these days I would like to pull the glasses and clean them ,, so I can see the fluid better ,, but usin the engine dipstick has given me a secure confidence of a accurate reading
