Ill get thrown to the wolves for this. John Deere is my second choice. we have a 1070, 1270, and a 2590. Was never a Deere fan until i took over the farm 10 yrs. ago and needed to get parts for the Case tractors. the dealers either couldn't or didn't want to get parts or work on them. First tractor i bought was a 2470 and i sold it a few years after because it was a dog and when we went to overhaul it the block was no good, looking back i wish i would have kept it and put a cummins in it. I've bought Deere ever since the dealership is great to work with, they have parts(on hand even), and the mechanics are helpful if i get stuck. The Cases are mostly retired here. This is my Deere lineup- 4230, 4440, 4255, 4960 and im working on buying a 3020.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
