I plan on doing a modest restoration on this 741. Tin is good, engine tight (no smoke), all or most decals and emblems are still on it. Clutch and brakes seem fine, however, I wasn't able to run it with a load on motor. I bought and paid for it yesterday and will have it hauled home within the next two weeks. Once here I will be able to go through it more thoroughly to see what needs to be addressed. One thing I do know is the 3-point hitch arms do not raise. Last owner used this to pull a drawbar towed 8' brush hog and removed 3-pt hitch 5 years ago. He put them back on to sell and hydraulics don't lift. I pulled the Trans/hydraulic dip stick and see that there is some water build-up; so drain, check screen/filter and refill will be tried first. Thanks for any advice or input.
