I am looking for some posible causes for why my pto will not hold adjustment. I have tightened the pto cluch twice now the first time I was going to use it on a corn picker and it wouldn't even turn anything over I had used it to unload a few silage wagons before and it seamed to work fine. I adjusted the cluch so it took pleanty of preasure to engauge with the lever. The next time I was able to use the tractor was hauling manure, I got half way unloaded and disengauged the pto to turn around and when I went to engage it again it was lose and wouldn't run the spreader. I adjusted the pto again thinking maby the adjusting pin didn't lock in place, the second time i made sure it was sprung back in all the way, I was also carful not to realese the cluch veary fast but after awhile it losend up again. It is an 831 and has the counterclockwise (looking from the back) tightening cluch. Any help is greatly apreteated. Thanks. Austin
